La Joya Dulce in Steamboat Springs

The Couple

Michael and Shelby were married at the new and beautiful venue of La Joya Dulce in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. If you are looking for a Colorado ranch wedding then I highly recommend this beautiful venue in Steamboat Springs. It was gorgeous with mountain views. It had the perfect amount of class and rustic mix. You can see my aerial drones in Michael and Shelby’s video to see how gorgeous the venue is.

When I meet with my couples, we go further in depth in what kind of film they are looking for. Some want traditional romantic. Other’s adventurous and artistic. Michael and Shelby wanted “out of the box” and I think I met their desires with this fun film!

I try to make sure each of the wedding films I produce match my couple’s personality and story. A Colorado ranch wedding and a Denver city wedding are quite two different kinds of people and stories so obviously their films will be different.

And this is one thing I love about my job. I get to have couples from all over the world with different styles and stories and this gives me the challenge to retell their wedding day in a unique way.

The Venue

While there are several Colorado ranch wedding venues, la Joya Dulce was located in the gorgeous town of Steamboat Springs. So what a beautiful place to stay a few days before or after your wedding, soaking in hot springs and enjoying mountain views.

Another thing I loved about La Joya Dulce venue was they allowed brides and grooms to ride their horses! The owners are truly cowboys/cowgirls and really have a gorgeous property. They have beautiful horses, gorgeous sunsets and outstanding views. One of my favorite parts of their venue was their huge sliding barn doors. This provided an incredible entrance for the couple. While La Joya Dulce is a fairly new venue, do not let this stop you from booking there! Everything ran extremely smooth. I have been shooting weddings for quite a while and this place felt like it had been in business for years.
