Upper Beaver Meadows Wedding
This upper beaver meadows wedding was magical. Donnie and Hallie came from out of State but knew they wanted to get married in Rocky Mountain National Park. However, they came with 20 of their closest friends and family. Most wedding spots in RMNP can only accommodate up to 10-15. This is why I recommended an Upper beaver Meadows Wedding ceremony.
Is an Upper Beaver Meadows Wedding Ceremony right for you?
If you have a larger group than 15 wedding guests, then I recommend Upper Beaver Meadows. I love this location because the mountain views are incredible. Also, it is very friendly for small children and elderly as you do not have to walk much.
When you drive down Upper Beaver Meadows road, you will come to a small picnic area with some pretty rocks and mountain views. There are bathrooms here as well. However, if you continue down the road until you reach the dead end, you will find an open meadow with a gorgeous mountain range behind you. The perfect ceremony spot.
However, because the field is so wide open, consider having your ceremony in the early morning or later in the evening. The sun will be blazing with little shade. Considering other locations in RMNP to get married, check out my blog to guide you!
Donnie and Hallie’s Upper Beaver Meadows Wedding
Hallie and Donnie were planning a large wedding in their hometown. They were going through the traditional steps that most american couples do. I got a call from Hallie a few months into her planning. She confessed to me, “ I hate this! I want to marry the man I love, but all this wedding planning is stressing me out. Also the expenses are unreal.” I began to hear her rough idea of eloping. She was pleased to hear that not only am I an elopement videographer, but I also will help you plan everything!
I hate stress. Hate it. And I hate to see my couples go through stressful times as they plan their wedding. My goal is to help remove all the stress of wedding planning for you and leave you with only the fun parts 🙂 Check out my blog on 6 tips to avoid wedding anxiety.
Donnie and Hallie got ready at an Airbnb in Estes Park. They had their emotional first look at Sprague Lake. And then had their Upper Beaver Meadows Wedding ceremony. At sunset, the guests went back to the Airbnb where their amazing private chef, Chef Kent and Emme, had cocktail hour waiting. Donnie, Hallie, their amazing photographer, and I went to other places in Rocky Mountain National Park for epic portraits.
